Blue dash lights on a srx

Waiting on parts for my powervalves. So I can't start the engine yet.

are they the blue glass, or are they painted blue?? cus the painted ones burn through the paint and go back to yellow color.

i but red cbulbs in mine, and i must say it is really nice to look at in the night. i used red, 12 volt 194 bulbs. works perfectly. i had the blue at first but i found thatafter a short while one of the two turned a different shade. i cant believe i am saying this but red is better...
