i was reading that you need a adjusting tool to adjust your power valves, i guess it powers on the servo. but some of you dont use that tool, is the tool really needed? does it make adjusting valves easier? i think they call it an adjustment coupler.
yes, a wiring sub harness is made by some companys, but, no ,you dont have to use one. It can also be done by lowering the idle below 900rpm and marking your servo motor to the housing. This way you know if you have moved it when adjusting the cables. If you look here this has been talked about a million times and youll find pics in some of the threads showing you what I am describing, its easy to do.

yeah was reading about how to do it without the tool but does the tool make it any easier? and also doesnt the tool test the servo to make sure it is good?
u will see it move if u start the sled so u will know it work .....
Personally it doesn't get much easier than the above.
no, doesnt make it any easier. same thing. if the servo doesnt open below 900 rpm its not reciving the signal or faulty, would show you the same exact thing if you plugged the harness in and it didnt move.

that spells it out, guess that will save me $45 for the tool, instead i can spend $330 on three stupid little power valves because mine all broke, hope the little pieces on the end didnt find a home in the piston.
make sure its not in the exhaust if something fall there
well I can save you a few more bucks too for x-mas shopping, have your local machine shop repair the valves for you. Have them chuck the valve up in a lathe, machine off the end thats pulled thru, drill and tap the end for 5/16" bolt, insert a 3/4" long bolt with redloc-tite on it, tighten down. The machine the hex off the bolt, drill a pilot hole and slot the head, younow have a repaired powervalve with steel insert that wont pull thru again. Do a search on this. theres pics of this as well on here.
send me a big xmas gift with all your left over $$$$$$$$$....LOL!!!!

New valves are suppose to be updated with more meat at the end where
the cable slides in,SOO if you adjust it right 2.5mm you should be good to
go,clean every 5-1000 miles if you value your valves, use a good full synthetic oil watch your jetting and oil pump setting....
