I'm a novice at this so please excuse the stupid questions. I have a 2002 sx viper which is great on the smooth trails and thru the woods (again smooth). But as the trails get bumped up, the sled beats me up.
What should I be doing to optimize the ride. My sled is bone stock with about 2500 miles on it. (also have a 2003 RX1 but finding I like the lighter Viper).
Suggestions on front/rear set ups??
Thanks....waiting for enuf snow

Welcome to TY. Goto the tech page for suspension setups for the viper. If you have not had the shocks revalved then send them out to a shop like Pioneer. Have them set for your weight and style of riding. This will make the world of a difference.

Check out BETHEVIPER's set up your skid. He goes through a setup process that you can use for a base and then tweak to your liking from there.

Just get a zx2 skid!
From my experience the proaction can't handle different terrian. Better off to look for a zx2 and just take out the proaction. I replaced mine and couldn't be happier.
