Picked up a 2000 arctic cat zr suspension for cheap. This weekend we installed it, went really well... so we thought. When took it for a test run it felt good until i punched it out and the suspension sunk down in the rear. causing the rail tips to dig into the track clips in the front, destroying the rail tips. Has any one ran into this problem and how should i go about fixing this issue. obviously the approach angle of the zr is different then the vmax so will moving the front mounting hole down help or will simply tightening the front limit straps to pick up the rails in the front help. attached some pics sorry for the quality (phone camera) when i get it set up i will post better ones.

How did you determine the mounting locations? Is the front holes set to the correct offset from a baseline between the axle and rear mounting holes?These are the dimensions I used, taken from my 00 Cat Snopro. My front hole was 1 3/4 up from the baseline. If your's isnt, this maybe the cause.

thanks sno-xr. think we found the problem, we utilized the existing front mounting hole, couldn't move the hole up because of tunnel clearance issues. it is a good thing i work in a welding shop. We have use of an overhead crane and an aluminum welder. Our fix(btw works fantastic). Removed the rubber bumpers on the rails, at that location we cut a 3/8" pie shape out of the rail, being careful not to cut all the way through let just the bottom chord, then gently formed the rails to the desired angle and welded it up, put the bumper back in place and you cant tell it was even done. Wasn't a simple job like we thought it would be, i will post pics soon
