I have a 97 Vmax 700 SX.. i just bought the sled from a freind. It has a hawk clutch kit, stock reeds, and triple power inc pipes.... I took apart the carbs and the main jets were 150, 148.8 , and 148.8 . im not sure what the others wer. I was wondering if this was to high. The sled is pumping way to much fuel to the engine. the gas is coming right out of the cracks in the pipes adn ther is some in the base. The plugs are completly soaked. I was wondering what the sled should be jetted at with these pipes. Also if there were supose to be small spaces in the reeds. also how many turns shoudl the fuel screw be and pilot jet..... ANYTHING would help THANK YOU

Which power inc pipes do you have, center or end dumps?

Those mains are not overly rich. You should be somewhere around 50s for pilots.
You will have to be a little more specific in regards to the spaces in the reeds.
Is the sled running at all?

PI Pipe Install.
There's a copy of the sheets that came with the PI center dumps.
Jetting (center dumps are different than end dumps)
PTO 143.8, Cntr 145, Mag 145
Pilot 47.5 two turns out.
These mains were a little lean for my machine.
