Hi just installed a set of vforce deltas in my viper and decided to do some reading on them after the install, I noticed there is alot of talk about installing reed spacers with the vforce 3's.
Was i supposed to install spacers???
If so why?
thanks jay

anybody
Huh?
Never heard of using reed spacers on a viper regardless of what version of V-Force reeds you are using. I was always told they were not necessary on SRX & Viper cases. SX motors are a different story.

The VForce 3's tend to crack and chip on the Yamaha motors. The spacers help prevent this, and smooth out the flow slightly.
Oh
I didn't realize he was talking about the spacers that come with the V-Force....I thought whe was talking about actually gettin aftermarket spacers and installing them also.

The V-Force 3's come with a thin black plastic spacer.
