Sno-xr there is no way 1.175 woody's gold diggers in a 1.25 lug track stick past the lug by 1/4 '', sorry man you do the math . I just studded a 1.25 ripsaw with 1.375 stud boys and they only stuck 1/4'' to 3/8'' past the lug.
and if my advise is so bad maybe you should have given good advise on you first reply to this post..

Take a look at all my posts, no where did I say I used woodys. And did you happen to look at the links I posted to woodys and studboy? Just doing the math between 1.25 and 1.375 doesnt tell the whole story, you would only have 1/8" penetration! Add in backer plate thickness, track deflection , or take the overall length of the stud and subtract the actual thickness of the track and lug combined.Brad said:Sno-xr there is no way 1.175 woody's gold diggers in a 1.25 lug track stick past the lug by 1/4 '', sorry man you do the math . Which is it, 1/4" ,5/16"or 3/8"?? The studs are all the same length right, do the math!
Dont get all bent out of shape, I simply told Dave to try a few studs and check the pentatration. Its alot easier then replacing the heat exchanger.
