Srx is supposed to run at 8,500 rpm right?? It runs at 9,000 i think its over reving.. what should i do set the spring tighter?
Don't tune with the secondary. Add weight to the tip of the Weights.
EDIT: Also, What helix are you using? Is the belt new? If not an old worn belt could over rev.

I just bought it.. its a stock 2001 srx with a bender can on it.. thats y i am asking this question because i was wondering y it was running at 9 grand.. on a stock srx..
Change the belt, a worn belt will over rev. What weights are in the primary stock 8DN-20's?? With 4.5G in each hole? Just try adding weight to the tip of the weight. Change the belt and and see if it lowers the rpm on topend.
