Hi everyone, been lurking around this site for a little while and decided it was time to post. Ive had and still have a cpl yamahas, an old srv and phazer II. After riding with friends that have revs i decided i HAD to have something faster! that ol phazer cant keep up to them! Anyways i ended up buying a classmate of mines 02 viper. he bought it for 2800 in december '07 with a brand new ripsaw track. it also has a bender can and chrome windy. i got it in april for 2400, it has 3200 miles on it and ive put a 2 inch riser on it, and just done some regular maintainence.. clean pv's, replace hyfax and carbides, chaincase oil, new belt. anyways ill be done now, great site guys! heres a pic of it if will work.

i bleed blue but the revs are strong with the weight and all... are your friends riding 800 or 600 revs?... if you wanna beet or stomp the revs with a earlly yammie like a srx or viper you have to mod em.. sorry to say... i have a 98 srx with some motor work and some clutching and i walk all over my buddy with a 06 rev 800... others will probbly chime in and give you some in site on the vs rev deal but from my rides i found there are ways to get around weight
one is a 03 500 SS and the other is a 04 600, i think those 2 are pretty close in hp. but it was sad ridin with that slow phazer, felt like i was holding them up! im not really sure how close itd be with my viper, i hope i can take em.. hopefully find out on friday when we get to ride for the first time!

they should feel like there on the phazer now.you should wax them.even a 800 rev.no problem. nice sled by the way.looks clean but i think you payed to much for it being the month of april.have fun.
he wouldnt dip on price at all, if i woulda brought cash maybe some. but im not complaining, its in awesome shape and i knew the guy. Im happy with it so far besides the whole weight thing..

nice sled. My Viper waxed an 06 F7 in a lake run.
should have no problem with those doo's now. if you really want to wake that sled up, put in turks heelclicker setup. my brother (site member kirkswim) has it on his 2002 viper. makes it really snappy in the trails and it also does pretty well on the lakes. it is posted in here somwhere under his name.
