price help on a motor

i have a 2001 700 with 6000km on it it ran good and always taken care of. it has no power valves, no carbs,no clutch, no recoil,but it has carb boots, coils, and water pump. how do i sell it?? whats it worth whole and apart?? you can pm me or write on hear. i need help pricing this. i just dont want to rip anyone off. i also dont want someone to put gas to it and fire it up.

800-1000, you can get more if you piece it out.

crankcase 500, crank, 400 casees 150-200
cylinders, 150 each
heads 50 each
stator 100
pistons, 50 each

probly being a pain now but what about skis oil tank and carbs that looked like they were on a BBQ grill for a min? the plastic parts are melted slids work too.

do people really buy used pistons if so why just wonderin

I think the big parts will be the cylinders, head, crank, etc. Pistons would be a good buy also, especialy if you burn one up and your not 100% sure of the cause. Better to pay $50 for a used one than to buy new and burn it down again.
