Anyone got a good setup for the clutches on a 600 triple? My neighbor has one and I must admit the thing is a pooch compared to the 700's we have. The thing is totally stock. ('99 600 vmax)
Been absolutely beat to death on here. Change inner rivet in stock weights to 4.5 grams.
I think this makes 1,238 times I have responded to this question.
Please try doing a search first next time.

did do a search this is a 600 not a 700. I'll look again.
Just tried again....searched using
600 triple
600 clutch
600 clutching
600 set up
can't find a set up in any of that.

Empty 8ca's work also, might under rev a little bit though. I've got the 8ca's. green-white-green primary spring *I think*, and a 51/43 helix @ *60 on the secondary and mine hauls the mail for a redhead 600. I can slowly walk away from my dads Bone Stock sx700r all the way from Idle to 90mph and both sleds top out at the same speed. I dropped one tooth on the top gear, thinned the headgasket, notched the reed stoppers , and opened the idle fuel screw 1/2 turn and it performs very well now.
