WHAT!!!!!! A viper beat an f7? No way....I cant be true.......nothing is faster than an f7!!!! This is the typical response you'll get if you post this on a arctic cat site.I smoked 3 f7's on lake of bays with my 04 viper s.In a short run its tough to get around an f7 but top end they arent very fast in STOCK form. The viper has longer legs out on the lake.
and thats with no pipes.lol.,.iam putting my pipes back on today

3 of my buddies in Marquette MI all on slightly worked Yammies (sxViper, sxr, and mmax) beat another close friend allllllllll day long on his F7 with D&D y-pipe and silencer 1.25" studs and clutch work.

I can see you taking the Formula III but not the F7

I watched my ole man smoke a nice 2003 F7 sno pro on our neighbors property a couple years ago. I was the flag man. They ran well over 1000' and it was Viper the whole way. I am sure the F7 was stock, but the kid only weighed about 125lbs soaking wet. I am sure my dad had him by 60 lbs. Of all the stock vipers I have run into.......none runs as strong as my dad's viper......mine is close, but his is VERY strong for what it is. I have run some vipers on the other end of the spectrum too.

clutching is usually the deciding factor. if one machine is clutched properly vs. the other stock, guess who wins...something as simple as a belt in poor shape can make or break a race.

F7's are faster than the speed of light.

right now I would have to say the F7 due to the fact it's set up for 2000' & the SRX is my trail machine(shaved heads, clutched& studded),but when I got the F7 in stock format the SRX would beat it accross the lake. Not saying that's impossible but a highly modded F7 including the weight diff, should get you...
