I put in my replacement PV's and was adjusting them. I could tell that the cable/ferule was not staying centered in the PV. I tried a couple of times by centering it and then tightening the cable to keep it centered. But it still didn't work. I could feel it was kinda off-centered. Actually all of them felt that way. Did I do something wrong?

I wondered the same when I re-installed mine.

I was just very careful when re-inserting them..keeping pressure on the cable seems to lock them in place.

Im suprised there no gromet or something you can stick on eityher side of the cable end...like a rubber plug

I didn't remember it being an issue last year. Maybe it's the new cables too. I noticed that I don't have to do much to get the new ones "tight".

once you put them in the slot and slide them in the housing keeps the from coming out but they do just float in there till you adjust them.

Twisted cables!

You have to make sure your cables are completly straight and then you can put the cable in the middle of the valve. Be careful and make sure you have the valve the right way, so you don't have to flip it with the cable attached when you put it back in the housing.

The valves are the right direction. I'll pull them off one more time to see if I can get the cables centered. They shouldn't be twisted.
