Think I just go thit by the stator bug....coming back from riding last nite headlight got really dim no diference if hi beams where on, sled also started to bog!shut her down & restarted ok for roughly 10 minutes & same issue!

That or your harness has rubbed through. Check the harness first.

new harness put in when I had the motor out,so thats why I 'm guessing stator....

I f the tors was actually causing the issue what about the headlight dimming really low???And why would it be ok th enext day???
rode for 200 kilometers today with no issue get home & the the light went down to glow & seemed lik ethe tors was kicking in?????

Wires can get rubbed other than under the motor. From reading old MrViper threads, you should also check the wires running under the tank and seat going back to the brake light, check around the steering column, and under the cdi (under left footwell). He said you had to pull the cdi loose to be able to see the rub underneath. Couldn't hurt to check those spots.
Not sure what you mean by TORS was engauging when it was sitting back at home at idle?, but with all the odd seemingly unrelated troubles it sure sounds like a rub. How long ago since you put in the new harness? And did you put the new harness in automotive tubing?

but new harness this summer the section that goes underneath is sheilded with wire loom.When we got back home was trying to get sled in garage & it was just bogging like when the TORS is working.Raining today so I can't try it to see how it runs....Thinking of swapping CDI to see what going to happen.
