Hi, New guy here.
My sled doesn't want to idle at all when started up. Need to stand right by it and operate the choke to keep it running enough to get it warmed up. It seems like it just wants to flood out and die if left alone. I've never had a problem with it before. Do I more than likely need a good carb cleaning? I've cleaned the power valves before but never messed with the carbs as it has always ran perfect. Still runs excellent now for riding but just won't sit and idle anymore. After riding it for about a 1/2 hour or more it would idle but was pretty low around 1000 rpm's and eventually will kill.

just thought I would let you all know , I just cleaned the carbs on my sled and WOW! What a difference. I have never done this before and all I did was follow the instructions on this Tech site . I was having trouble with it running , every time I shut the choke off it would die. So , after looking around and asking "Daman" he suggested the cleaning . I went out and started in . and found the pilot jet thru holes clogged and little white grease like substance throughout all carbs . Put things back together , only lost 1 air box screw in the belly . And I cant believe what a difference . I use to have to crack the trottle to get it to start . Not any more, 1st time, everytime . Thanks to Daman and this site . I have a great appreciation for this forum . and My Awsome running SRX!
