i have a .5" race track and i found a good deal on some chisel tooth studs. The chisels are 1.2" long. am i going to be ok running this long of a stud in a track with such a short lug? just really dont feel like tearing on through.
Thanks

should i run my track a bit tighter just to be safe or keep it at a regular race tension?

you will have to run it tight anyway or its gonna racthet unless your running non-slip drivers.

I never had any ratcheting problems on any of my drag sleds from stock to improve stocks with stock drivers.
