well after 400 miles on the pro action ive pretty much concluded that btv is right!there isnt to much that can be done to change the overall smoothness or ride quality without blowing a bunch of money!i realize its been talked about on here alot but i think im gonna pick up a m 10!ive seen them on ebay sell for 350-550 used.question is ,is there a better way to long travel the front than just brackets and longer shocks?i thought i remember btv saying something about trailing arm geometry?any insight would be great thanks!
the trailing arms are different caster but it can be delt with and wont bother as long as the rubbers are shimmed correctly.
hey btv,is there a triling arm from a diffrent model that has the correct angles?or is that something that would have to be modded?

i had a 01 srx and i put on pioneer performance long travel kit in the rear it was the best update that i did ,very good ride better transfer has about 4" of set-in so the sled only sits about 1" higher but has more drop out so if you catch air you have 11" of travel well worth the $360.00 leave the front alone it still rails around the corners but rides 10 times better.
hey thanks for the input!i might consider that!after a day of riding it as-is i feel 75!

too bad i don't live up north where the trails are real nice, then the srx would be perfect in every category, thinkin about puttin a edge skid in my sled next summer.

i would go with a polaris or ski poo skid they are almost the same and saves you about 60 lbs... im selling my srx just because of the weight in the a**..!!..
srx/viper skid weigh 70-73, most others weigh 50lbs.
