Anyone know the lower sprocket torque spec. for a Viper and should I use locktite on it? Also, I adjusted the chain finger tight and back a half turn, is this correct.

tight/snug.
Thanks Daman, I put everything together and realised that I didn't loc-tite the lower bolt for some reason. Will take the cover off again, clean both threads and loc-tite, just to be safe. Sounds like my torque was in the ball park.

ahh piss! we forgot to loc tite my buddies sprocket(s) it would make sense to use it because its turning clockwise and the bolt is being forced counter clock wise from the rotation, so its gonna unscrew.... Nothin broke yet, so we'll see what happens... ain't my sled!

hey i just play the "i don't know what i'm talking about" part when it comes to his snowmobile, but i'm a sleeper.
"hey man, 35 ftlbs doesn't seem like enough, i'd go at least 410 ft. lbs"
Buddy says: "wha!!!"
I say: "no lie"
