i am trying to figure out what i need as far as clutching. i was reading that these pipes require different clutching than benders or aaen so i am not sure turks set ups are what i need. i have a 51/43 helix on they way. there must be several members out there with these pipes.

8BA-00
YGY
3.6 Inner, 2.4G outer (Try this and work from there)
51/43
green 60-70*

my buddy runs this on his SXR 700.

i am assuming they are 8CH weights with stock rivets. i was going to take the clutch off today for a good cleaning and inspection but i do not have a clutch puller.

What year SX?

8CH (4.5G in both holes)
Y-S-Y
Your helix with Green @ 60-80*

This should be very close to 8700

yeah iam going to use the 51/43 with the 8CH weights, a green secondary spring. but why do you suggest the Y-S-Y primary over the W-S-W?

It has more total force, and a little higher Spring rate. Either one should be fine.

ok, thanks! i will order springs and rivets tomorrow.

You'll have to mess with the rivets to get the RPM Exactly where it should be. Make sure it's not 9000-9200, I've read that also.

CPR pipes must run 9000-9200 for peak power, if you are running them at 8700 you are not getting any benifit from the pipes. Trust me
