i have a 2000 srx with 1.25 ripsaw with 96 studs and i was woundering on secondary set up stock setting is 80 degrees and i have 1 washer for belt adjustment ,the reason i ask is i was out riding and i found bult was easy to slip but it was like around 5 degress out and the snow was sticky just woundering on set up

I Think The Belt Slip In Secondary Clutch .......
So you think the belt is slipping in the secondary? So you're wondering what to do?

sorry guys its a stock 2000 srx 700 and i added 1.25 track with studs and went for ride and belt slipped but i bacause it was warm out ,but was wondering if stock clutch set up is ok for track and studs

stock setup is red spring @ 80 deg......you could try the green spring @ 60-70 deg if you want. i've never seen 96 studs make the belt slip tho.

its probubly bacause it was 5 deg outside and snow was sticky i think

well pulled secondary apart and had no shims for belt so i will get some to adjust belt and ill check track tension to i think the belt was a bit low
