i have a 96 v-max xt that i want to have the hood repainted , does anyone know the paint code or exact name for it ? its the aqua blue/green color. want to get it as close as possible so it matchs the side panels as good as possible.

I couldn't locate anything on this color. I found this 5 yr old thread.........that's it. I have a yamaha touch-up dabber type that says it's STAR BLUE. But it's all dried up. PNT-12000-to-37

Alot of auto supply stores that sell paint have a scanner that they can put up against your hood to get a match. I get my paint from car quest. The scanner can get a pretty close match but not perfect, you might want to paint the side panels too if you can't get the exact match.
color rite is the supplier for stock Yamaha paint, colorrite.com expensive but it matches.
