Disassembly of primary clutch

The primary clutch on my friend's '91 Phazer is sticking engaged. I've offered to clean it up, and concluded that the inner sheave has to be threaded on.

I've made a tool to hold the spider, and a tool to spin the sheave. Logically, it should have left-hand threads, so the belt doesn't try to back the sheave off. However, when I try to spin the sheave in the clockwise direction it doesn't budge.

If I'm right, I'll just have to try harder, but if I'm wrong, I don't want to damage anything...anybody know for sure what direction I need to go?

left hand thread, But you need some heat to soften up the loc tite..Propane torch works ok
And Alot of effort depending on the size breaker bar you have.
