04 viper oil trouble

i would like to if it's safe to dis-connect cable for oil pump and run just mixed gas in my sled?

give's me a peace of mine blew my old sled up cause oil cable broke if i mix gas i know what i'm getting

pumps on these new sleds are very reliable no problems,,plus mixing gas out in the field/trail would be a PITA don't you think??

the pump also feeds the crank bearing keep that in mind,yamaha knew what
they were doing..

it's just a question i broke oil cable and because of the holidays don't have a sled till next week sometime i live in a shit hole town

I would take interest in what daman is saying about lubing the crank bearing though. If you do disconnect the pump, i would recommend installing a primer knob you can pull so there is a luber for the center bearing. Or else i feel you would be worse off my mixing gas and not lubing this bearing..... Take it for what its worth i guess....
