does anyone know if a viper rear shock will fit on a 98 VMAX 600XT, it is a factory kyb and is 18 1/2" eye to eye, was told it was on a 99 VMAX, just wanting to make sure .......................... thanks

thanks for the answer but it does not seem to help me now, the shock I was to buy off of here can not be sent to me because it is a gas shock???? USPS won't send it I guess..............
Thats very strange. I just sent all four of mine to the US for rebuilding.I also bought shocks from across the border with no problems with shipping.

I know, tried to buy one for sale on here and was told USPS won't ship gas shock?? he is gonna try UPS...............

they both will ship them. just put them in the box and tell them the box contains parts.
They need to know it is nitrogen gas, not just gas. they are thinking it is flamable. they will ship it usps, I have done it a lot. Maxdlx

well I ended up picking up 4 2002 viper shocks and they fit perfectly with one exception, on the rear you have to grind the cradle out a bit.
