jordan, what main jets are you running, that's making you feel that you have to big of jets? is your sled rejetted for some mods or something?

yeah he had it jetted for alot of mods including pipes and cold air intake but it only has the cold air intake now it was running 170-165-165 for mains now i put in 165-160-160 and its better but im thinking if i go to 160-155-155 it should be close to bang on cuz right now at 165-160-160 if i pull the filter off it revs out but with the filter in its about 7500 which is up from the previous 7000rpm with 170-165-165

those are way way big jets for just a cold air kit. what is your elevation and riding temps and is it only a cold air kit? or is the airbox gutted/modded too?

1500 ft anywhere from -10 to-30 during the same day haha and as far as i can tell the box is supposed to have three tubes inside it and they have been cut off

thats celcius and that lid is stock just the two narrow slots
That's a lot of jetting. Why the 2 size jet jump on the last cyl? I'm ported, piped, CAI and I run 155/45 across the board.

the plug in the hole jetted 170 was dark but the other two dont have much color yet as the plugs were just changed

No It would be WAY lower, Like 135-140 MAX! Warm air isn't as dense as cold air.

yes summer jetting would be down in size...you are still to fat imo.. try 150's across the board

Ya that is way way to fat! I have ported cylinders cut heads bored carbs and gutted air box and i run 140's! Summer 130's max!
well i'm ported and i run 160 all accross and the plus are just perfect ..take care went u talk about jetting porting are not all the same ........................

That's BC you had WAY to much compression and needed to cool the cyl at the same time with the high jetting.
yep but did a ride today and it run awsome fix the heads run 160 and wooohoo it fly ....stupid but i gain like 300 rpm with heads fix and switching to 2001 ignition

yeah ill try 150 accross i think your right it should be close to perfect there thats basically back to stock right i just wanna play it safe and not lean it out
