Need primary spring

Looking for a primary spring that i will not have to shim to get a 5,000 engagement. Sled is setup for 660 ice drags and im using bender qaw's and a yamaha orange pink orange but its not stiff enough and is falling off at 500ft and i have to use 2 8mm engagement shims.Hopefully someone can help me.Thanks -Mat
 
how about a clutch modified up to yamaha drag specs that no matter what spring or arm combo wont come in till about 5200-5500? got one for you! and no, you wont find yamaha drag specs anymore. this is drag only, not trail reliable.

What's done to it?

Also Have you tried a hauck orange. 60 preload It's good for Grass 660, So I bet it'll do just fine on ice.
 
not going to share all, but i have an orange spring and a purple spring. either is good to 1000', in direct ratio to gear/arm selection. heres a deal for you: with a deposit, i will send you this clutch, empty, with 2 springs, and some 8bu's that need some tip weight. run it, dont dissect it, i will know if the sheeves have been separated, if you like it, deal done. if you dont, send it back, your out shipping x 2. deal is extended to edgeracer1, 98700 need not apply.
 
MATT, I BEEN USEING THE NOW CLOSED MAXXIMUM SRX SPRINGS. REALLY WORK GREAT FOR DRAG RACING IN A SRX. SRX/WHT WORKS GREAT. WHAT DID,NT YOU LIKE ABOUT THE HAUCK ORANGE. 3:16 (yammie tony)
 
the last time i tested with it fell off but as quick as we get some ice to test i am going to try it with my bender weights.
