whats the difference btw a 98 srx 700 skid and 2000 srx 700 skid ? will the 98 bolt right in ?
98 will bolt in. I think the 2000 had a lil more travel but not much if any. Maybe just the springs were different.

About 2 years.
The 1998 will bolt right in. There were a few differences though. The 2000 and up had shorter and relocated transfer rods to help with weight transfer. The 98's did not transfer very well. Also, the 2000 had 4 wheels in the rear where 98 only had 3.

Would it be possible to change the transfer rods in a 98 skid to the newer location to transfer better? I would like my SRX to transfer better, so if I could switch to the newer style or I have my Viper skid still kicking around, should I just swap that in after I re-valve the shocks? (Sorry about hijacking the thread)
