hey guys last week or so i had made a post because my 02 viper was draining coolant.. Where it was going ??? I had no clue .. well today I tracked it to my left side heat exchanger .. didn't want to pull it off looked like a pain in the ***.. so I tried to think of everything it could be without being that exchanger.. well to the point i sucked it up and pulled that exchanger today and found where it was coming from .. the previous owner had installed grippers on the outer rails of the tunnel and hmm yep you guessed it !! riveted right in to the heat exchanger so now im here with a rivet in my heat exchanger ... just thought id share
WOW! I think I would have to go back and smack him once or twice, and a boot to the head for good measure. I seen someone on here using some kind of a weld to patch up the holes. Look around a bit more to find it. Good Luck!

I can send you a aircraft style sealed cherry pop rivet, if you want. what size is the hole.

J & B weld will work fine on that!

Not sure, but I think a good 2-part epoxy will work as well. I used to use it on brass radiators, but I haven't tried on aluminum.....
I have used a product called alumabraze with great results. Brazing aluminum with a torch. Another member has used a product called benzamatic I believe, this was brazing rod with alot cooler melting point, I think he picked it up at Lowes.
