I was running in the powder this weekend and I noticed my secondary was slipping. It was wrapped to 80. Is 90 too much....or 100??????? I am using a yami green spring. What happens if I over wrap?

I hear that some will go to 90 wrap in the deep stuff.I am at 80 wrap and I know things are slipping and I am loosing rpm's and speed in deep stuff.zYou will maybe get a better backshift also, something I am lacking in deep powder.

My spring is new so I am going to a 90 wrap. I also think that the snow I was in was getting to the clutches to aid to the belt slipping(black streaks on the sheaves). I everything is fine on the groomed trails! How much can a person wrap to??? Without having problems?

GOT TO BE CAREFULL INCRESEING TENSION BECAUSE THAT WILL RISE YOUR SHIFT RPM. I JUST DID A APPEX RTX FOR A GUY. ONLY PROBLEM WAS HE WAS SLIPPING SO BAD, CLUTCH WAS GETTING SO HOT IT STARTED PEELING THE BEAD OUT OF HIS BELTS. I REPLACED BOTH SPRINGS, CHECK ALIGMENT, AND SET BACK CLUTCH AT 80 DEGREE. SLED A ROCKET. 3:16 (yammie tony)
