How to do the kill swich bypass? and for the extra $100 should I buy a new stator over used?

jyou just nee to jump around the switch. buy i neew stator.they are rather expensive at around $200.
Unplug the triangle shaped plug under the bar pad and unplug/bypass the TORS system at the carbs. That will eliminate the kill switch.

I would think 200 for a new stator is cheap. I recall the one for my 431cc panther was nearly 300 dollars. But that was the only one I have had to have replaced on any sled we have owned.

I wish i had bought a new stator I spent 100 on used one and sled has always started hard since its been in. It does work though. SOmething like a stator in time will wear out so if I had to do it over Id get a new one. At least you know what you have then.

I would buy new. There is no good way to tell how much one has left in the tank. If you are not in a hurry they can be rebuilt. Some people have even done it themselves. These guys will probably rebuild you one better then you can buy.
