the rear cooler thing mac is describing happnes quite often. my brother now clears the rear cooler or checks it every time we stop when trail riding after having the coolant light come on the one time and it was iced over.

looking at your avatar you have a belly pan protector.If you didn't do it when you installed it trim about 2 inches off of the back of it.My nephews 02 would build a wall of ice on real cold days at the front exchanger.We cut a 2 inch strip off of the protector and never had another problem.It was actually our dealer that told us to do it.The funny part is that the dealer installed it in the first place.My nephew had them do it because he didn't want any problems with his new sled(the dealer told him that it had to be trimmed when he bought it).Mac said:One other scenario not discussed is the ice shelf that begins to form over the front or rear exchanger.
