I was talking to a local racer, and he said that he used to put in SRX reeds in his SX motors (From what he said he could remember). He said that they gave him a little bit more torque on the bottom end by giving more pressure. He said that they filled the port a lot tighter than the stock cages and reeds. I was wondering if anyone has done this or know if it's possible. I'm assuming that the boots off of the reeds would be a different size for the carbs. I'm just playing with some ideas that I had heard. Thanks for the help, Drew.

Drew I think there is a piece on this in the Tech section. It can be done but you will need to modify the opening for the reed cages to fit and you can use your same intake boots. T

I forgot to look in the Tech Section (rookie mistake). I'll have to take a look. Have you tried it? I was also wondering what people thought of this mod?

I couldn't find anything in the Tech Section, maybe I missed something, but if someone happens to find the link please post it. Thanks, Drew.

Thanks for the link. I found it not five seconds after my last post (should look harder before I ask). Again I was wondering what you guys think about this. In the last post on that link, jabber800 said that he had to go way up on his jetting. Are other guys seeing this huge jump also? I'm just trying to see if it's worth my time doing. I heard that it's nice from the fellow I talked to up here, but want more input before I go modifying anything (reliability factor comes to mind). Thanks, Drew.
