im just putting my Heelclickers in my 01 SRX clutch and the instructions say to use the wider white centering washer included with the kit..the only problem is there is not enough room for them to fit...not even close,it say to not use the stock washer's so im at a stand still with this thing.Any help would be great.
Thanks.

I allways use the stock washers. As long as they fit snug your good to go.

I Had the same problem when putting them in my viper,so i called super torquer up and the guy told me that they include them in all there kits, but was used mostly in the arctic cat kits because they have such a tolerance issue. He told me that some guys will file them down and keep checking them to get them to the proper thickness. He also told me i could just use the stock ones if there was not a lot of play in them,so thats what i did and they have worked good.

i used the stock ones and there is no play, one thing i did notice is one weight doesn't swing as freely as the other too..much be alittle tighter bushing.
Also had that problem, I used some fine sandpaper and sanded the bushings to get them to swing freely.

well that sucks..i put it all back together with that H/C Red spring..so im not taking it apart again after getting that sucker in there.I think they will all swing fine..I hope anyway

Turk I am also getting ready to install a Heel Clicker set I got from Don MrViper700. I am installing them in a stock 2004 Single Piped Viper do I need to change my stock rollers to 15MM?? Also, is there any clearance issues I need to be aware of???

does anyone know how much weight you can put in the tip? i loaded 5 in the tip and 4.8 in the heel and im still turning up 8800rpm with the stock secondary setup.should i put some weight in the middle hole?

Sled don....i use 14.5 mm rollers no probs. You may have to remove a small amount of material from moveable shive so weight will shift out.
blue Devil...drop down to the grey sprimary spring. that should get rpm,s closer.

You could probably put 6 or 7 grams in the tip and still hit 8800rpm if you have the secondary spring cranked to sh*t. What helix are you using, what spring and how much preload?

it was the stock helix stock secondary spring at 80*,i have a new yamaha silver spring as well to try.i wonder if the Grey primary spring is as good as the red for drag racing?

Stock eh? I believe that's a straight 47? There are better helixs to use with heel clickers then that, but start by dropping your secondary 60*. Simple 5 min change and I'm guessing it will get you close in RPM.

As for Red vs Grey primary, most use Red and there are many great setups for an SRX using the Red spring. No so many for the Grey.

See if someone can lend you a different helix to try, something like a 48/36.

im going to try the silver seconday spring at 60*,add 2 more grams..im waiting for my helix to arrive so i guess im trying to set this thing up for now. i thought with a lower finish angle it would turn more rpm's.
