Nope nothing special just a good clutch puller, pop off the clutch remove the
top cover then weight arm bolts(putting back in the same direction they came out),making sure when putting the cover back on the X's line up on
the inside cover and inside clutch..

thnx daman. Just did a few searches and seems simple enough just checking with others can never have to much info.

yes doesn't hurt to ask for sure..
to add when putting back on the sled torque down to 85ft lbs re-loosen then torque back down to 46ft lbs..

was also looking at changing to a rx1 heelix however all i could find locally was a 48/42 from staightline performance in forest lake. Is this comparable with the 51/43 from yamaha I've read they are not as agressive as the numbers sugest.

i've heard the same thing yes,i'd hold out for the 51/43,but thats me...
yammiegod3:16 had posted the actual angle of stock helix but I cant seem to find it today.
You dont have to actually pull the clutch to change the weights, If you take the cover off you can get to them, More of a pain but it can be done, If you dont have a clutch tool.
Agree with DV8, this is the way I've done them and I have a puller. Just take it easy on the bushing when you put the cover back on. Of course, I had a sled lift when I did it this way so I wasn't bent over or kneeling for long times.....

use loc tite on the bolts just to be safe. you dont want that stuff to come loose.
