I had to replace the belt and noticed the clutch sheaves are really glazed. lots of black on sheaves from wornn out belt, ( knew i should have replaced it before riding this year). whats the best way to clean these, ive seen posts in the past but dont see any right now. checked tech pages but didint find anything. riding a stock vmaxx 600 xt 96. thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very fine grit sandpaper, or emery cloth and a wash with soap and water afterwards will do the trick. Just make sure to rinse any soap residue off.

I have always been told a scotch brite will work haven't tried it however
Dishwasher to clean, very fine grit sand paper to remove excess rubber
