Ok so me and my buddys are planin a trip where theres 3 gas station and all 3 are with in 40 miles of each other and about 180 from the truck to the frist one.
where can i hold extra gas at. My one buddy can strap 5 gallon to his sled as his is 2 up and can put it on the extra seat. but his tank is only 7 gallon mine is 10 and my other buddys is 13.
I was thinking of maybe the least 2 1/2 gallon on me and my buddy and ill prob use them both he might get away without using any extra.
Im trying to put this on a 95 vmax 500 and a 2000 arctic cat zr 500

tour buddy? good for an extra 3 gallons of gas. goes on the belt gaurd on most yamahas. i know they list them at royaldistributing here in canada. should be able to get one or a rack to hold some gas cans. i know my old 2001 sx500r needs 2 extra gallons to make 1 leg of a 200km trip with the gear so it got 10mpg. it was a 400km trip total so he needed it twice.
There are also saddle bag gas cans. Or rig up something on your bumper. Maybe even put an extension on.
