When installing the xtra-10 suspension in the 94 vmax do i use the top idler wheel thats attached to the middle of the tunnel,i see in the polaris diagram that i used for a template they did not show one?

Well maybe i can answer my own question, lol. In the skematics for the donar sled there is no top idler wheel like on the yammy so i would quess out it goes!

idler or not

I just put an x10 in my vmax and same as you noticed that the polaris doesn't use the extra set. But I did notice that track noise is a little louder maybe because the lack of it.

what did you use for spacers for the shorter polaris shafts?do you remember how long the spacers were,3/4 ,1 inch or ?

spacers

Half inch each side. I used aluminum on the back because of the drop down and steel on the front. I'm sure you can fabricate you own no problem.

It's my lucky day! Can one of you tell me the size of the bolts that go through the tunnel into the shafts? I think they are 3/8"? I'm missing one and my sled is up north. This would save me big time. Thanks!

I would reinforce wherever possible. I failed to reinforced my front arm bolts when i did my skid swap to a 2000 venture skid in my 94 vmax 600. The bolts holes looked like a banana after about 800 miles and the front bolt worked it's way out. Know i have a steel plate inside and out bolted together. Learn from others mistakes.

the rear is srongly reinforced with a steel plate on each side and for the front i transferred the original reinforcement plate to where my new holes are, just waiting on a polaris coilspring and a couple of other small parts hopefully i will be able to go for a spin in a few days time.

Ummm, I kinda know the feeling...

Thanks for the help, everyone, I will bring loc-tite and several 3/8 bolts, and hope that my holes aren't too out of round.
