i want to replace the stock 3/4" track with a 1" with studs. what all do i need to do as far as changing drivers or modifying anything in the tunnel? i did a search and cant find what i am loking for.

3/4 to 1" with studs is fine, no parts removal or modifying needed. I WOULD however check and see if your sled has front heat exchanger protectors from the factory. I WOULD install and run those if yours doesn't have them.

i put a 1 inch on mine with cooler protectors just make sure track is always adjusted

sorry to jump on your post but anyone know if a 1 1/4 track with studs will fit under the proaction suspension of a 99 vmax? do have to put smaller drivers in or will there be enough clearance? already have tunnel protectors installed so ............?

Yes, a 1-1/4 connected cone made by camoplast will work without changing drivers! use 1.375 studs, stud center belt only. you might want to trim a few of the tips on the center cones....(thats what i did), but its not neccesary
