Well I don't usually post but I thought that us yamaha faithfull needed a little pat on the back . My 02 Viper er turned 30,000 km at the end of last year . Now what is amazing is that other then regular maintenance that is the original engine , never appart ! It still runs at the front of the pack I ride with and handles like a dream . I just wanted to share good old Yamaha dependability with you . Keep them stock for years of fun ....... Attached is that day and the support we recieved !!!! LOL....

I love story's like this. My 2003 Viper that I bought new in Nov. 2002 has just clicked 4500 miles (all stock, never apart!!) and I hate reading about all the ones that have blown up lately. Keep 'em stock and keep 'em clean they will go for a long time. -Ed

30,000 km is amazing, simply amazing. Good job! I could never keep anything stock for anywhere near that long.

30,000 WOW!! I can only hope mine will go that long, I've got 12,000km's on mine and are all hard miles. Its funny to see on other forums guys liking/(hoping)to see 2000miles on there brand.

30 000 km is amazing. Just regular maintenance goes a long way. This year my sled is up to 24 000 km on the original engine. I only hope i will reach 30 000 lol

Best i ever did was on my 86 ski doo mx. Had 14800 miles on it, motor never touched , when i sold it to a young kid. He ran it another 2000 before he blew it up from not cleaning the carbs...lol.
that is why we own yamys. wish my brothers had made it that far.
