For All You SKI DOO readers

i hit 25000 km last year on my 700 red head, put in pistons, rings and seals this summer, as very late preventative measures. next summer its bearings.

My V-max 700 I sold this spring had a little over 11000 on it, ran like new. Bought it for $1000, put 2800mi on it, never replaced anything on it but the belt and a couple plugs. Wish I would of kept it.

i have a 98 srx 700 with almost 10,000 mi on it only been apart for the crank shaft fix. proper maint and only 1 submarining which was last year.

I am still using Yamalube , the power valves are cleaned every 3000km and look not to bad . Hey maybe your wife and her sister can come back to Northern Ontario again this year ! Keep ridding Yami , it will get you home ...... ;)!

02 viper i hade the origuinal motor in my viper till at 22290 the mag side conceting rod bearing whent on it and craked the casses and took out 2 cylenders and 2 pistons all i could slavige from the motor was one cylender piston PV oil pump and sator that was it.

I have to see how long I can go now , too far into it ! This is just for principal now , I have always had Yamaha sleds except for 1 Ski-Doo ( blew up) and 2 merc snow twisters ( they were fun ) . We have our 20th annual tour week coming up Feb 1 and I'm crossing my fingers that I make the 7 days .

I just changed my top end, and aside from rings, voluntarily changed everything else, she had 15,000.

1/2 the KM of this crazy example, but still pretty dam good. That'd be 3 rebuilds on a bomby!!!!

Congrats eh!

Wouldn't you rather change the top end and do another 30,000km on it? If it blows it will cost you more and be without a sled during your outing.
