boggy idling

my friend has a 2002 viper. He bought this sled off me ran fine last year. this year it seems boggy when its iding ike its getting to much fuel. he also told me if he is ripping down the ditch and the rpms get lower than 4000 it wants to die. is this all a problem with the ypvs or anybody have a fix help please.

Plugged pilot jets in the carbs....need to clean them. If he flips the choke, does it help? If it does, then carb cleaning in order.

clean carbs even if they look clean soak pilots and blow them out
