Make sure nothing is binding, Don't you have to gear down to get up and going with more track?

What track did you install? deeper paddles? etc...
if nothing is wrong wit ht clutches? it most likely is caused by the heat
from the added traction and working the belt harder, driving in deeper snow etc..
might be able to cure by gearing down a little or maybe even a little more twist to the secondary?

I am no expert but check to see if one of your motor mounts is lose. I had a belt blow on my phazer because of this. The motor would twist when I gave it gas.

I agree, first thing to check when blowing belts is motor mounts. Either loose or broken will cause it. Don't assume its anything to do with your stretching it, might not be related. I would think being under geared might smoke the belt, but certainly not be breaking them.

I broke a motor mount on my 1997 Vmax 600SX back when it was new. I then installed an engine torque arm and it never happen again. Reduces engine twisting under load.
Check your clutch side front motor mount. Broke 3 of these on my 02 . Put in the torque arm and a new mount and haven't broken one since. Also, your gearing down will help tremendously. I put 8 tooth drivers on mine when I stretched it, effectively gearing down 2 teeth. Still had had to put a straight angle helix in it with my roller secondary. Upshifted to quickly with the 51/43 and pulled the motor way down. Keep at it, it's not an exact science LOL!!
