What have you guys tried? I think the 03 has a taller one or is there a better after market (cobra) ? I hate freezing. Thanks for any input.

I ran mine 1 year with the stock one and rode one with the model Yamaha had that was about 2 inches taller and it was way warmer. It didn't look that bad and that's what I went to and still have it. Works good.
i went to the low black , dont do it...................... cold and windy , my stock will be going back on.

I liked my stock 03 windshield (higher than the 02) as far as warmth went, and it doesnt really look too bad at all. I just like the low one in my avatar better as far as looks and with what I wear I don't really get cold. if it gets well below zero I will throw the tall one back on, especially if I get out riding up north on the nice wide and fast trails

Low Blue Chrome is the only way to go on the blue vipers, leave all the tall windshields for the grandmas on their touring sleds. If you get cold get a better jacket or wear more clothes.

I have the stock 03 windy that I cut down 2" and painted black. I really like it, it's low enough to look good and not as tall as a stock 03. I usually stand while riding anyway so, the height of the windy doesn't effect my warmth factor much. -Ed

the only thing that will ever really get cold on me is my neck and/or face. and I do not stand up, no need on the trails so why would i neck down is always nice and warm

Low blue chrome looks great, I have one on my blue 02 Viper... my SRX has a low black windy... i guess i just like the wind burn, lol

Love it! anything over 15* I just toss the suit on over by jeans and tshirt. Definitely heafty, but it works 100% better than my old bibs that would soak through in the first 2hrs...
I have the 03 stock (med), yamaha low (to cold), Cobra blue low (Just right). I ran the low blue two years no problems. The Cobra has a curved lip that reflects the wind better.
