that dunno..
What is the main differance between 99 SX and 2000 SXR? I know my 99 has 4 Ohlin gas charged shocks and GYTR ski's, and the seat looks the same. I thought maybe the hood is different 99 SX has one head light and SXR has 2. Anything different with the motor?
2000 sx-r has long travel suspension; front & rear. also the clutching is different in the 00 & newer sx-r

and the 00 sxr still only had 1 headlight.not 2...they had the same skis also
I am now running Turk's recommendation for clutching, on my 99 SX. What a differance, The engine just seems to be in the perfect rpm at every moment. My Milage also increased. I usually lead the group I am riding with, my wife is usually the tail gunner. She has a 2001 600 DLX I now always use less fuel than she does, same trail, same miles. Turk, would your recommendation for the 99 600 SX be applicable for the 2001 600 DLX?
