I did some testing last year at slightly warmer temps and thought I was pretty lean (but good). Went out this morning -15F and did some plug reading because I was worried it was so cold, but everything looked fine. Later as it warmed up to -10F it actually felt really rich at 1/4 and still a little rich at 1/2. What do you guys think? Below is 1/4 throttle chop after a long 5 min run @ -10F?

look fine to me. you have some safety margin there. did it gurgle on you any? the darkest plug, is that the pto cylinder?

Although its going to sound as if I went against everyones recommendation, that's not entirely true. The key to the post was that the day I did that plug reading was pretty much as cold as I'm ever going to ride in, so having "some margin" is not what I need. To have a machine that virtually bogs at your coldest temp (-10F) makes it completely unridable at more normal temperatures (23F).
So I dropped the needles a 1/2 clip position (from 4 to 3.5). Did some testing the following day (5F) and the plugs still look good with room for colder temps. For added safety when it's colder then 0F I will turn the carb heaters on as it acts the same as richer jetting.
Even after that adjustment its still a little rich in the 1/8-1/4 throttle range, so I may turn the fuel screws in a 1/2 turn.

Not sure what you mean by "gurgle", but the exhaust sound changes when it happens. Tone is lower and sluggish sounding.
Yes, wet plug is the PTO and its already a 1/4 turn leaner then the others.
