The dealer fixed it , replaced the chain at no charge to me and the tech apologized to me personally . That was kinda nice.

now I took it out for a trip and another 21 miles or so and the thing starts running on 2 cylinders, changed the spark plug and no change , pulled the plug wire no change swapped the wires and then the other plug didnt fire ahhh, I think its a bad coil . Its the one closes to the clutch . I am very disappointed . Everytime I gone out with this thing, Ive had to get the trailer and bring it home . What is going on , one thing after another . I am really starting to think next year Im going to get an new apex or nytro. I dont know , just really discusted. :o|

Hey wanted to let you all know why it was running on two cylinders . It was a clogged carburetor, The small needle jet was plugged up. I think I got junk in my gas tank . I cleaned them once about 70 miles before . She runs GOOOOD now . Just to let ya know

The dealer is just breathing a sigh of relief that you weren't really on the gas when the chain went and blew a hole in your chainacse, bent the jackshaft, and destroyed the brake. I sure hope he replaced it free of charge.

I recently put new hyfax on this fall. I thought I seasoned them enough in Dec, but recently when I rode it out on some hard packed trails the hyfax heated up, when I stopped I had the same thing happen, I had to bounce to get going. By the time I got back the vibration was real bad. I am putting a new track on, when I pulled the skid. I had almost 1/16 divots along the hyfax and lots of plastic melted into the track clips. I not only had tightened my old track too much but was also crooked. One of the hyfaxs had deeper divots than the other. I'll be much more careful when setting up my new track.
