Guys Just Wondering If There Is Any Thing Negative To The Viper Silencer Mod On The Tech Page? I Have A Extra Scilencer For My Viper And Was Considering Drilling It Out As Described On The Tech Page. Im Just Looking For A Better Sound And Let It Breathe A Little Better Cant Hurt.

I'm reasonably certain that mod is for the sx/red head style engines only.
Thats Why I Asked I Wasnt Sure If You Could Do The Mod On The Viper Or Not. Good Thing I Asked Thanks

If I were to do anything to the exhaust ,not including triple pipes ,I would try a Bender single pipe, but dump it into the stock can. I have heard this works OK. For some reason the silencers do not work.It must lose too much of the back pressure and mess up the charge cycle in the pipe. I am not a mechanical or a 2 stroke engineer, but I have always felt the staggered compression on the head also has an effect on the way the charge happens in the pipe.
