Just had new Kimpex ultimate traction 1" lug track installed w/96 1.25 picks down the middle. Now noticing a vibration at low speeds and track noise like driving over a wash-board. Driving on mostly hard pack trails but still feel it in the footwells at low speeds even in softer snow. Is it just the added lug height and picks or is something wrong here?

track may be to loose.Them studs my be hitting maybe.Make sure they are not hitting the exchanger.Track will balloon more with studs on there.Reason I didn't go with studs. My exchanger started to get nicked from the original track and studs.

Thanks Blue,
I've come to realize (after much review on here) that it is more likely track rub, especially when I am coasting to a stop. I checked everything out last night, when lifted I noticed no rubbing but the lugs are very close to protectors, studs are not in line with protectors. Track must just be ballooning as I slow to a stop and shift forward to create the rub.
If I let the track (rub down), how many miles am I looking at...200-400 ? Really don't want to trim it.

It could take a while for it to wear in on its own-- kinda like riding with the brakes on all the time. Clipping the lugs isn't too bad. I just raised the track off the ground and used a pair of end nips(wire cutters) and you should only need to take off @ 3/16" depending on your particular track.
mine wore in in about 150 miles on my 99 500. The higher the speed the faster the wear down. LOL Maxdlx

I trimmed down my 1.25 ripsaw with sharp utility knife.Cuts real easy like with sharp blades.

I've decided to just let it wear on it's own...already notice a difference after 200 miles. Now its on to the power valves! All stuck! Have been using Ipone oil...not a happy camper.

I put a kimpex track on my old eltigre 5000 and the track alway's made a rachet noise when you got after it! I took it off and took it back and got the original track from the cat dealer! Tried saving a buck, and it wasn't worth it with kimpex
