I presently have Bender triple pipes on my SXr700 and was wondering if SLP pipes are any quieter when riding. I like the added horsepower of triple pipes but would like it to be a little quieter when on the trails. Thanks for any input.

They should be seeing the newer ones dump into a canister silencer as opposed to individual glasspacks.I have never ridden one with slp's,but watched a clip of a slp piped mm 700 on you tube and it did'nt seem much different sound level than stock.

I have SLP pipes, louder than stock for sure, but I never got any ringing in my ear etc, They are not obnoxious !shadowz21 said:I presently have Bender triple pipes on my SXr700 and was wondering if SLP pipes are any quieter when riding. I have SLPs and my buddy has Bender and both are about the same to me for sound but the Benders are better for accy add ons like reverse and electric start. SLPs also run better at 8900 rpm compared to Benders at 8500 Rs
