I just pulled my skid out of my 97 xtc 600 to change the track. I also took all of the wheels off and changed all the bearings and the sliders. My problem is with reassembling the two upper sets of wheels. These are the two sets of wheels that are on the upper portion of the skid. 1 set is smaller and the other set is larger and all plastic. My problem is that both of these wheels have 2 washers that go on the shaft on each side. 1 washer is larger than the other. I'm not sure where the washers go.
The larger wheels have the transfer rods attached to the shaft. I know that it goes transfer rod than my problem is does one washer (small or big) go on one side of the wheel (inside) and one on the other side (outside). Does both of the washers go to the inside of the wheel after the transfer rod? Does the big on go in front of the smaller one?
The smaller set of wheels I am wondering the same thing. Do both washers go to the inside of the wheel. Does one go to the inside and one to the outside.
I am wondering the placement of the washers from inside to out. Washer wheel washer? Washer, washer, wheel?
Shoulda paid more attention when tearing it down, but I had the parts breakdown off the Yamaha site, but unfortunately it isn't as clear as I had hoped.

Take a look on a microfiche. Port yamaha has a good one and that should show you what parts go where.
Yeah I have those, but they don't show the wheels and all the parts together. They don't show what goes in front or behind the wheels.
i believe the big washer goes on next to transfer rod then the little one, then wheel!
